The3rd Polish Slovenian International Seminar on Soft Matter will be held on-line on September 26-28, 2024. Directors: dr hab., prof. Aleksandra Drozd-Rzoska (IWC PAN, Warsaw, Poland) and prof. Sami Kralj (Univ. Maribor & Josef Stefan Inst., Ljubljana, Slovenia).
These are 30 lectures in the following sessions (i) Biological & Living Soft Matter), (ii) Colloidal Soft Matter, (iii) Bio-Complexity, (iv) Applications of Soft Matter, (v) Phase Transitions and Critical Phenomena in Soft Matter, and (vi) Glass-Forming Systems.
17 lectures will be given by outstanding specialists from Slovenia, Poland, Italy, Mexico, Denmark, Japan, Belgium, France. The remaining 13 lectures are presentations of particularly interesting results by young researchers on their way to the status of ‘outstanding’ specialists. Next there is a poster session with interesting results from young researchers that will complement the picture, and the Worskshop ‘Show YourSelf in Science’, which is dedicated for young scientists. This workshop is organized and will be chaired by three PhD students finishing their thesis at the Faculty of Marketing, University of Economics in Katowice.
